Many of you know our beloved junior stylist Gwen. After being out of action for quite some time due to an accident, we are overjoyed to announce that she’s back. Her talent, positivity, and gentle energy were truly missed — and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her back into the team.

Starting next week, Gwen will gradually return to work, focusing on BIAB and Gellac treatments. To celebrate her comeback, we’ve launched a special November promotion exclusively with our junior stylist — the perfect opportunity to treat yourself while supporting her new beginning.

Our Annual Tradition: From Tips to Togetherness

Every year, we at House of Bellona look forward to one of our favorite traditions — our annual team outing, a day dedicated to laughter, bonding, and celebration. What makes it extra special is how it’s funded: through our tip jar, which we save together throughout the entire year.

Each coin and note left by our lovely clients goes straight into the team jar. It’s our way of turning your generosity into memories — moments that bring us closer as a team.

This year, our destination was pure magic: the Efteling.

Despite the rain that greeted us that morning, spirits were high. We packed our umbrellas, our laughter, and our sense of adventure — and as soon as we arrived, the magic took over. The grey skies cleared, the music started playing, and suddenly, it felt like stepping into another world.

Everyone rushed into their favorite attractions — from the whimsical Droomvlucht to the thrilling rollercoasters that had us screaming with joy (and a little fear).

By lunchtime, we all gathered for pancakes and tea — well, some of us may have had a glass of wine instead. 😉 The laughter around the table reminded us why we love what we do — not just the work, but the people behind it.

Later that day, when we looked at the photos taken on the rides, we couldn’t stop laughing at our surprised faces — pure fun and chaos frozen in time. Even little Ilkim and Djaivy, the youngest members of our extended Bellona family, were fearless adventurers, adding extra sparkle to the day.

This outing reminded us of what truly keeps our team strong — gratitude, togetherness, and shared memories.

A November to Remember — and a December to Prepare For

With Gwen’s return and our Efteling adventure behind us, November already feels like a month of gratitude and joy. But as the fairy lights begin to twinkle and the scent of pine fills the air, our attention is turning toward the most magical season of the year — Christmas.

Our December schedule is filling up fast, and we want to make sure everyone gets the chance to look and feel their best for the holidays.

To meet the high demand, we’ll be open late on December 18, 19, 22, and 23 — until 9:00 PM — and on December 24, we’ll be available until 3:00 PM before we close the doors to celebrate Christmas Eve with our loved ones.

We encourage everyone to book appointments early to secure a spot in time for the festive season. There’s nothing we love more than knowing our clients are stepping into Christmas looking elegant, confident, and radiant — the true Bellona glow.
